At the moment, our Company has a Staff of more than 50 people working in our craft shops.
Fratelli Borgioli has always had a special bond with our employees, our territory and our community.
Just imagine that many of our current artisans have inherited their skills and passion for this job from their parents or relatives, who used to work with us back in the ’70s and ’80s.
Our shoes aren’t just simple products: they embody 70 years of efforts, passion and craftsmanship of different generations of an entire community.
MEET OUR ARTISANS
Fabiola, Pattern Making
She has been a part of our group since 1995. She started working in the stitching department assembling various pieces of leather that form the upper part of the shoe, and after that she moved to the cutting department. This experience led her to undertake a course in pattern making. Now she is the chief pattern maker in our company.
My work makes the idea come to life
Andrea, Construction
He has been working with us for 3 years. As soon as he joined the company, he immediately showed great interest in the manual construction of shoes, coping multiple roles in the production process.
I am happy to contribute my skills to the creation of these excellent handmade products. I am proud of my work.
Felice, Finishing
He has been part of the finishing department since 2014. He specializes in the difficult art of patina coloring. Not many artisans manage to master this intricate process, because it requires a unique understanding of color usage and waxes.
Putting the final finishing on the shoe gives me the possibility to add my personal touch to what I am doing. Personally, I find it very rewarding and I plan to grow further in this field
Paolo, Cutting
He started working with us in 2000. At the time, he was driving to work on his scooter in spite of the cold wind and pouring rain. During the past 20 years of work, he has mastered the difficult art of cutting leather by hand. Paolo is a very important resource for our company.
Simona, Prototypes and Samples
She started working in the stitching department in 2013. She is mainly focused on creating prototypes and samples.
The only way to do a good job is to love what you do
Sara, Finishing
Her father has been working for our company for many years. Initially, she worked at home doing manual finishing of the shoes. In 2015 we had the opportunity to hire someone in the finishing department and Sara was immediately brought on board.
I know that my work contributes to produce a quality shoe. This makes me very proud of what I am doing
Antonietta, Quality Manager
She started working with us in the 1980s when she was still a young girl. She works in the finishing department as a quality manager. Before packaging, each pair of shoes goes past her expert inspection.
Work has been an important part of my life. In this company, I felt myself appraised and motivated to do my best, all the time
