Description
This classic brogued buckle is made in dark blue hand dyed calf leather.
The hand dying process starts from de-colouring the leather with special solvents and then coloring it with colours and waxes, to obtain a vintage, uneven colour effect.
The sole is attached to the upper with hidden stitching. The sole has an oblique-cut channel under its edges where it is stitched to the upper. Then this channel is glued and the edges of the sole are covered.
The sole is trimmed, polished and hand dyed in a burgundy colour which is a distinctive colour for Borgioli.
The process of the hidden stitched sole not only waterproofs the outer sole but also completely adapts the sole to the upper to make the fit very comfortable. The fit is easily adjustable thanks to the buckle design.
A buckle shoe is less formal than a lace-up one which creates infinite ways to combine it with smart casual looks. The dark blue colour of this classic buckle is suitable both for summer and winter styles.
